¿What is gesliga.com?
gesliga.com is a web which allows you to create and manage sport (or other disciplines) leagues.
Which sport and disciplines are supported?
All of them. By default the most popular sports are available, but if the one you want is not int the list you can register it when creating your league. This can be done because it's you who decide your league's rules (points, rankings). That's why it can be adapted to any sport or any other activity (chess, card games, …).
How many leagues can I create?
As many as you want. Once registered, you have access to a control panel in which you can see all your leagues and the actions you can perform on them.
Who can look up my league?
You decide if you want your league to be public (everybody can see it, and look at ranking or schedule) or private (invisible to the rest of the world).
How much does it cost?
No money. gesliga.com is free.
I can't create my league. What can I do?

When creating my league, my sport is not in the list
In the sports list, select "Not in the list"; this will show a new text box where you must enter the sport name. Later on, you can set the ranking rules for your league. If you consider that gesliga.com doesn't fit your sport, contact us and we will study the case.
I'm manually managing a league, and I want to bring it to gesliga.com
You can do this when creating the league or later on. In
Import league you have some indications to do this.
Can I generate the schedule again?
If you don't like the automatically generated schedule, you can go to Schedule section, delete it and generate it again.
My league has an odd number of competitors. What happens in this case?
In this case, gesliga.com will set the schedule so that each day one competitor will rest. You don't need to create any fake competitor.
What name should I give to my league?
If your league will be public, you should give it a meaningful name, so that anybody can find it through the "find league" tool. You can change the name at any moment.
What should I enter as organizer?
The club, sports center, organism or organization who is responsible for the league. Users can search a league by this name, so it is recommended to give it a meaningful value.
Can I manage multiple groups and knockout competitions?
No. In gesliga.com we think knockout competitions are quite easy to manage. And multiple group competitions (like football world cup) are too uneven. So we prefer to focus on the point where our help can be most useful, which are single leagues.
What are legs and goals?
gesliga.com splits all matches in legs, and each leg in goals. This names vary from one sport to other; for example, in tennis a match is divided in 'sets' and 'games'. In table tennis it's 'games' and 'points'.
Can I modify the ranking table columns?
Yes, you can show or hide columns, alter its abbreviation, set the key text, sort the columns, …
What is "head to head" in the ranking criteria?
When two or more teams are tied after applying previous criteria (usually number of points), then the league with only the matches between them is considered. This criteria is applied only when all matches between tied teams have already been played.
My league applies a criterion not listed
In most cases, we will be able to add that criterion. Contact us and explain your case to us; we will study it and incorporate it immediately.
A team in my league has resigned
You must go to "Competitors" section, and press the button "Exclude" to the right of the competitor. Caution: this means all matches of that competitor will be deleted, no matter if they've been played or not.
